Facilities and Costs

Each apartment consists of a lounge with attached kitchenette, a bedroom, a bath/shower room with wash basin and toilet and a small store room/study.  The apartments are fully carpeted, decorated, unfurnished and all-electric.

4 of the apartments overlook the front while the rest overlook the large rear grounds. There is residents’ parking. On the ground floor facilities include a laundry run by the house staff, a residents dining room for group meals and a large conservatory, which projects onto the gardens.

The complex is managed by a resident warden.

Rents are assessed to cover costs only as Hurstleigh is a non-profit organisation. The rent includes currents costs, maintenance, council tax and communal costs. Electricity, TV, telephone and personal costs are not included.
